Favourites: February 2014

I haven’t got a huge amount of favourites this month, I blame February and its shorter time span. The things that I have picked for my favourites this month are things that I have literally been using everyday (give or take a few makeup free days) so here they are.

MUA Undress Me Palette – If you are a regular reader you will know that I am currently doing a project 10 pan and in that I have a MUA palette. I have actually used that up now and when I finished it I thought I would use up another palette and see how much I can get out of it look wise. This palette was made to ‘dupe’ the original Urban Decay Naked palette, which, I don’t own and is the reason I bought it. There are two shades that I have been using for work that give a really natural look to my eyes but also define them in the right places. I don’t know if I would repurchase this if and when I use it up as I’m not the kind of person that replaces palettes unless I’m completely in love but at the moment I love using it daily.

Seventeen Phwoarr Concealer & Clinique Anti-blemish Concealer – I have put these together as I have been using them in combination with each other to cover up some nasty breakouts I’ve got at the moment. I use the Clinique one  more as a ‘it’s ok I’m putting this on my spot it has acne medication in it’ and put a thin layer over the breakout and then put the Seventeen concealer on the top to make it as invisible as possible.

Real Techniques Dome Shadow Brush – I have been using this with the MUA palette and I have been loving it. There’s not a huge amount to say about a single brush but it seems to work really well with the shadows in the MUA palette and Real Technique brushes in general are, in my opinion, fantastic.

Taylor by Taylor Swift – I have done a complete review on this, here, but I have been using this every single day since I got it. It’s a rich scent that lasts all day and it’s affordable. What more could you want?

What are you favourites this month?

Thanks for reading 🙂
