The Travel Cosmetic Bag

I recently had a night in a hotel where I had worn a lot of makeup during the day and I needed to make myself look quite presentable the next day. I picked up this travel cosmetic bag from Tesco a few months ago when it was reduced to clear for £2.00. Tip: Always keep an eye on products that have a * on the price labels as this normally means it is discontinued and more times than not is going down in price.

There are 3 zip pockets with the bottom one being expandable.  I put makeup, brushes and jewellery in the top two pockets and left the one with more space for my more bulky items.

The brushes I took were mainly from Real Techniques (Powder brush, Buffing brush, Contour Brush, and 2 eyeshadow brushes) and one Avon Blush brush.

For makeup I took my Nars Palette that I got a couple of years ago, Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, Dior BB Cream, Collection Illuminating Concealer, Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick in Desire, 05, Maybelline Brow Drama Brow Gel, L’Oreal Superliner, L’Oreal Glam Shine Lip Crayon and Clinique Chubby stick for eyes in Ample Amber.

The skincare I took was mainly for my evening skincare routine and only a few bits for the morning. For removing makeup I took the L’Oreal 15 Second cleansing oil. I took 2 eye creams; the Benefit It’s Potent! for the morning and the Monu Eye Gel for the evening. I took my Redness Solutions Daily Relief Cream and the Clinique Moisture Surge Moisturiser for the evening and the Nivea moisturiser for the day. I also took my Tangle Teezer as I had curled my hair, which, somehow manages to make my hair even more tangly than usual.

What products can you not live without away from home?

Thanks for reading 🙂
