Review: Benefit Sugarbomb Blush

The Sugarbomb Blush from Benefit is one of the more unusual shades that they offer. Only this blush and Hervana have more than one block of colour that can be swirled together.

This blush has some shimmer to it and because of that you can use it as both your blush and your highlight (you know how much I love a product that can do more than one step of your makeup routine). The four shades consist of 2 pinks, 1 purple and 1 coral colour. I haven’t used these individually as I really like the colour that the combination of all 4 gives. On my skin it looks like a natural peachy shade with pink undertones and gives my cheeks a really nice glow.

This isn’t the most powerfully pigmented blush in the world so you don’t need to be too careful when swirling your brush around in the product. However, you can build the product up to the intensity that suits you. The staying power is about 4 hours, which, on my skin is quite a normal length of time – blush is the first thing to fade away one me.

The boxed powders from Benefit aren’t cheap but you get a pretty decent amount of product (12g) in them and this particular colour is quite different. You can pick Sugarbomb up from Boots here for £23.50.

What is your favourite boxed blusher from Benefit?

Thanks for reading 🙂
