Avon Super Shock Vs Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil

I have a particular ask for a black eyeliner: it needs to look like liquid liner. I need a pencil to look like I’ve made more effort than I have and doesn’t smudge as soon as I touch it.

A=Avon, U=Urban Decay

After 10 hours

These both go on very black and are creamy in formulation so easy to blend out if you want a more smokey look. The Urban Decay is just that tiny bit easier to work with as it doesn’t set as quickly and it is also just a little bit more precise. The packaging is quite similar and standard for an eyeliner, both need to be sharpened.

So the Avon faded more quickly than the UD so it can easily be seen which one is longer lasting. Price point is very different. The Avon goes for £6 (on offer for £3 at time of writing this post) and there are 4 shades to chose from. The UD goes for £15.50 and there are 40 shades to chose from. If you’re not going to be wearing this eyeliner for a really long time then the Avon one would be fine but if you want something super long lasting then the UD is the better option. The price on the UD is pretty steep but I do think it’s the better product.

You can pick the Avon Super Shock eyeliner here. You can pick up the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on eyeliner here.

What’s your favourite eyeliner? Is there a drugstore priced eyeliner that has really good staying power?

Thanks for reading 🙂
